The individual knitting tension of each knitter can influence the size, as well as the outside climate - no two pieces are ever the same!

Our Heritage Baby Blanket in checker weave design brings the quality and craftsmanship of the LYBL traditional knitted range into the nursery. Soft enough to cocoon newborns yet durable enough to grow alongside them, this generously sized blanket is designed for everyday moments: quiet cot naps, pram strolls and feeding time draped over mum's shoulder.

 Each one of our one-in-a-million baby blanket is crafted to become a keepsake, not just a blanket. It provides reassuring, enveloping comfort that helps little ones feel settled and secure. Choose from three gentle colourways – Rosewater, Seafoam, or Oatmeal – to complement your nursery palette. Like all LYBL pieces, this is a blanket made to be passed down.

This hand-knitted LYBL piece has enjoyed the mindful attention of its creator, and if treated well, will see many lifetimes:

• Dry-clean only;
• Regularly shake out to keep fresh and dust-free;
• Store on drying- or decorative blanket racks (shift occasionally to freshen);
• Do not store in plastic (captures moisture and cause damage);
• A small snag can quickly turn into a hole – snags should not be cut, pulled or shaved, rather repaired by an experienced knitter.
