How to clean your leather LYBL LogLift

  • Leather easily absorbs grease and oil and it’s important to maintain and condition your log carrier.
  • Clean your hands before cleaning the leather.
  • Using a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth briskly sweep over the leather (use little water, as leather takes time to dry).
  • If there is a dirt build up, wipe down your leather bag with a textile-specific leather cleaner:

- Apply cleaner in a circular motion

-  To avoid clogging the pores of the leather wipe off cleaner with a slightly damp cloth

- All brass and/or plastic components (buckles) must be covered or removed before cleaning/washing.

  • To keep the LYBL LogLift inner Riptech lining in shape never bend or fold the carrier against its natural/designed orientation.
  • The inner lining can be cleaned using a damp cloth.

Conditioning your leather LYBL LogLift

A leather conditioner is essential in keeping your bag in pristine condition, and will prevent the leather drying out over time, as it works like to moisturize the textile:

  • It prevents flaking and wrinkling: apply leather conditioner (dubbin) to a soft cloth and gently rub over entire leather surface and straps.
  •  If you are in a very dry climate apply conditioner at least twice a year to keep the LYBL LogLift soft and supple. (If humid, once a year should suffice).

How to clean your cotton canvas LYBL LogLift 

  • Use cold water and mild detergent.
  • All brass and/or plastic components (buckles) must be covered or removed before cleaning/washing.
  • If there is a stain:

-      sprinkle baking soda directly onto the affected area (or mix it with a bit of water to form a paste before applying).

-      gently scrub with a soft brush or cloth

-      let it absorb the dirt and odours for a few hours

-      rub or shake off the excess baking soda

 

·      Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals as they weaken and discolour the fabric.

·      To keep the LYBL LogLift inner Riptech lining in shape never bend or fold the carrier against its natural/designed orientation.

·      The inner lining can be cleaned using a damp cloth.

·      After cleaning let the bag dry flat/open.
